Our mini company
...and here we are all in Athens, the crib of European Culture
From the 15th to the 20th October the third mobility of Erasmus+ “Young Enterprising Europeans” took place in Cholargos – Athens. Together with our Polish, Croatian, Slovenian and Greek partners we spent 5 days of exhilirating experiences. The educational activities held inside and outside the school were very formative and enlightening.
At Apivita industry we all had a chance of seeing how enterpreneurship is well applied to the exploitation of the benefits of honey, royal jelly, wax and propolis, with direct contact with beehives and apiculture.
At Melas olive oil company we learnt about producing olive oil from the culture of olive trees, to picking and oil extraction. We found out about tht different production qualities and the labeling according to legal standards.
In School the students were engaged in different activities related to planting herbs, drying and packaging for sale. All students got involved without any hesitation, feeling at home, thanks to the warm and caring hospitality of the Greek partner staff.
We were all awestruck at the sight of the places where democracy was first created and practiced, becoming an example for the rest of the world: The Acropolis with its Propilei, the Parthenon, the Erecteus, the temple of Athena Nike.
Cape Sounio, where the Temple dedicated to Poseidon dominates the sea giving us a sunset worthy of Gods.
The grandeur of the Epidaurus theatre.
And the serenity of Napflio.
